Design and Implementation

We at NYTC are dedicated to comprehensive exceptionalism from Design in the office to Implementation in the field. Our higher caliber is proven with a strong returning customer base and continued expansion. Through a careful design and analysis phase, our projects are fully fleshed out prior to any engagement by our field engineers, thus minimizing the avoidable problems becoming increasingly prevalent throughout the industry.

  • Upgradeability (Unlimited Future Potential) - By utilizing open systems such as Tridium’s Niagara Framework, and industry standards such as BACnet compatible Controllers, we build systems with upgradeability in mind from the start. We can add any BACnet compatible device to our local networks, eliminating our reliance on proprietary controllers like traditional Controls companies. By leveraging the Niagara Framework, we are always on the bleeding edge, able to utilize the newest technologies to enhance efficiency.

  • Cybersecurity (A Holistic Approach) - If there is one industry that has the largest exposure to cyber-attacks, while simultaneously being the least prepared to deal with them, it is the controls industry. Understanding this, we have taken a holistic approach to cybersecurity, designing our systems to use the latest security measures throughout the entire system; with end-to-end encryption and dual factor authentication on the front end, and built-in countermeasures on the back end like dedicated isolated network risers, and Firewalls controlling all network traffic. Combining our continued service and updates to our systems with a security minded focus from the outset, we seek to neutralize cyber threats before they become an issue.

  • Futureproofing (Engineering for the Unexpected) - With experience comes the knowledge that the future is always uncertain. Thus we always build futureproofing into our systems, from our dedicated Fiber Optic BMS backbones, to oversizing our controller capacities and data point I/O counts. Add to this servers with redundant backups and storage options and Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and you have a robust system designed for the unexpected. It is a fundamental belief of ours to build the best BAS possible, while protecting the client from whatever the future holds.

  • Centralized Systems (Full Communication Between Components) - By creating centralized systems, we can dramatically increase efficiency over many separate systems that have little to no intercommunication. When all of the systems in a building can interact with each other in a proactive way, it not only increases the information available to each individual system, but eliminates conflict, enhancing productivity
