  • Extensive Experience – NYTC’s teams consist of lead engineers with 20+ years’ experience in Building Automation Controls and Office / Field Engineers with intricate understanding of industry specific electrical and mechanical systems. From Design and Implementation to continual Maintenance, Service, and Upgrades thereafter, our teams are highly qualified and capable of performing the full range of desired services on your building.   • Engineering Flexibility – With extensive knowledge of the industry and experience controlling many types of systems, we have the engineering flexibility to adapt to any situation. Whether it’s reducing scope and optimizing systems to fit a specific budget, or engineering the most comprehensive and futureproof system possible, our knowledge and experience is pivotal in creating a bespoke system for each building’s specific needs. We never use pre-generated (canned) programs.

  • Continued Support and Service – Here at NYTC, the Engineer who designed and worked on your Control system also has a hand in monitoring and maintaining it. There is never a B-team we send to service jobs, and we never rank our customers. Each of our Field Engineers is capable of troubleshooting and fixing problems wherever they arise, with real time diagnostic support from our Office Engineers to assist and expedite the process.

  • Energy monitoring / reporting – At NYTC, we understand that tracking energy consumption will be a critical part of the future. Our systems have built in capabilities to provide robust energy monitoring and reporting solutions, fully integrated into the BMS. With advanced functionality like Trending, Reporting, comprehensive Charts, and Graphs, we are perfectly positioned to service all of your energy Tracking needs. Furthermore, through direct interfaces with the larger Building Controls systems, we can perform immediate ADR and Loadshed programs to help you intelligently meet your energy and sustainability goals without sacrificing Tenant Comfort.

  • Types of systems we design – We have designed and installed systems in dozens of buildings, each with its own unique challenges. Here are some examples:

    • We have designed controls for full mechanical plants, with redundant chillers, plate frame heat exchangers, Cooling towers, and CWS and CHWS Pumps for Heating, cooling, and economizer operations. Steam Boiler Controls with individually valved steam radiators, oil tank monitoring and gas booster systems, and Hot water systems for perimeter radiation with local valves and HWPs.

    • We have designed AHU and AC Unit controls from small package Units to 200+ Tons with many advanced options, such as: OA economizer, forced spill operation for space depressurization, airflow monitoring and control, CO2 monitoring and DCV, Morning Warmup and Cooldown modes, Heating and Cooling applications, Waterside economizer coils with freeze protection, Glycol and Steam pre-heat coils, SCR Heater control and hot gas bypass refrigeration control.

    • We specialize in upgrading and modernizing older systems; like perimeter induction Units, and pneumatic systems with pneumatic to digital Transducers and digital EPRs.
